Not a month goes by where we don't see a posting on social media about a pilot attempting the so called Impossible Turn. Sometimes they make it, but unfortunately those are the ones we don't hear about. It's the Impossible Turn that went wrong that we see the aftermath of; and many times the results are fatal. During this seminar we'll discuss what the Impossible Turn is and consider the various challenges associated with attempting such a maneuver. Rather than reviewing statistical data the discussion will center around the causal factors and how to properly recognize and deal with an engine failure shortly after takeoff. Open discussion and the sharing of actual pilot experiences is encouraged. The bottom line is when you expect the unexpected you'll be way ahead of the curve when the engine quits running.

From I-25 take CO 47 east and turn left on Pete Jimenez Parkway. Continue straight onto William White Blvd and then continue straight onto West United Avenue. Turn left onto Keeler Parkway and then turn left on Magnuson Avenue. The museum is a short ways down on the right. There will be someone there to direct you towards the Conference Room.
