Title:
Managing Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFRs)
Topic:
Know Before You Go and Don't Get Caught Unaware by TFRs
Brief Description:
TFRs are an unavoidable reality of navigating the skies today. This is especially true in the airspace near one of the world's most important cities, New York. Its airspace is among the busiest in the world and that is exactly where we live—and fly. But add to that the visiting dignitaries, world-class events, and occasional emergencies and TFRs around New York become inevitable.
So how do we manage them? How can we avoid them? Can we operate within them? If so, how? And what if one pops up while we are already in flight? These questions and more will be covered.
This discussion is intended to be lively as well as educational. But we need your voice to add to the event. Sign up now so you can be prepared the next time a TFR is posted!
