Brief Description:
Safety Seminar will focus on recommendations, tips, and techniques for safe and efficient traffic pattern operations at non-towered fields both across our open prairie skies and in the unique airspace surrounding the Air Capital of the World, Wichita Kansas. Prior to the seminar the Kansas Pilot’s Association will be hosting a lunch for all attendees and area pilots beginning at 11:00 am. At Noon the Kingman Airport Board will provide a brief update on the State of the Airport. The Safety Seminar will begin at 12:30pm. FAASTeam seminar is presented by David Marten. David is a retired USAF Pilot/Test Pilot currently flying for a major airline. He's a CFI and avid general aviation pilot who enjoys flying aerobatics in his Christen Eagle biplane. Join us for this fun, informative discussion on non-towered operations.
