Title:
ASCEND 2026 - Hiring AI as Your Virtual Assistant
Topic:
Using AI to Enhance Training Efficiency
Brief Description:
CFIs not only teach ground school and in the aircraft, but also manage a lot of non-billable work. AI is useful not only for lesson planning, but also in other ways that boost efficiency. Using a virtual assistant saves time, allowing flight instructors to focus on what matters most: providing safe, effective training. Crafting instructional content, summarizing business and student records to comply with reporting requirements, verifying that FAA training requirements are met, and tracking student performance to ensure that safety standards are maintained are among possible uses for new technology.
