**Runway Safety & Pilot/Controller Forum at Deer Valley Airport**
Join us for a one-hour interactive discussion tailored for all users of the airspace surrounding Deer Valley Airport - one of the busiest general aviation airports in the country. Have you ever wondered what controllers really mean when they say "Hold Short" or "Stand By"? Curious about the best practices for sequencing into a busy pattern, navigating the Phoenix VFR corridors, or transitioning between KDVT and the surrounding airspace? Want to clarify what to do when you're cleared to land but there's still an aircraft on the runway?
This is a unique opportunity to engage directly with Air Traffic Manager Matthew Goguen from Deer Valley Tower and the Deer Valley Airport Operations team to gain valuable insights into air traffic operations and runway safety.
This forum is your chance to ask these questions and more. Designed to foster better communication and understanding between pilots and air traffic controllers, this session aims to enhance safety, reduce common errors, and ensure smooth operations in the Deer Valley airport vicinity.
**Pilots of all experience levels are welcome.** Don't miss this opportunity to improve your skills, clarify procedures, and connect with your local air traffic team.
