From the DPE
Date and Time:
Wednesday, July 29, 2026, starting at 17:30 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Richard Washart, DPE, FAASTeam Rep
Brief Description:

Walking into your practical test shouldn’t be a source of anxiety. This seminar pulls back the curtain on the check ride to give applicants and CFIs the confidence and competitive edge needed for a successful outcome. A local Designated Pilot Examine tells all!

We will focus heavily on bulletproof paperwork and preparation, ensuring your logbook, endorsements, and IACRA application are flawlessly organized so your check ride doesn't stall before it starts. During the flight test execution segment, we will share actionable strategies for managing cockpit stress, maintaining situational awareness, and recovering gracefully from minor errors.

Finally, you will get real-world tips and tricks directly from the examiner's perspective, highlighting common pitfalls to avoid and the subtle nuances that separate a passing performance from a failing one
