For our June 13th VMC meeting, we will feature our 2026 AirVenture Arrival Training. Get Oshkosh-Ready! Going to Oshkosh EAA AirVenture is exciting, flying there is even better — but the arrival can be challenging with tight speed control, precise descents, and busy traffic. The purpose of EAA Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) Clubs is to promote recreational flying, proficiency, and safety. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency in VFR day and nighttime operations. EAA VMC Clubs are extensions to local EAA chapters and offer monthly VMC program meetings where pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences. Since 2017 our pilots have improved their proficiency through the EAA VMC club programs and they love it.
