Brief Description:

Rob will be hosting an interactive presentation about RFD ATC, and willing to take our questions as well.  Having experience with both of our major control agencies, we are privileged for this opportunity! Rob Wenc  current RFD Facility Representative, has extensive and widely diverse aviation experience.  He learned to fly at U of I; flight instructed in Schaumburg (06C) before flying for 7 yrs on the E-145 in SAT and ORD for the airlines.  He went to work as a Controller in 2012, working both at Chicago Approach and Rockford.  In addition he has a degree in Human Factors !

Kindly email your question/special area of interest to me ASAP, so I can forward a list to Rob in advance so that he might be able to make or have the appropriate slide.  He is obviously well qualified to equip us with knowledge, insight and perspective  - from many hats!

Dinner and Social Hour start at 5:30 PM meeting beginning at about 6:30 PM.

Meeting held at EAA 1414 hangar which is off of Orth Rd, the furthest west hangar in the Upstairs classroom.  If flying in, the hangar is on the far North side of the field, and can taxi up to just short on the east side of the Chapter hangar.
