Brief Description:

Join us for A VIRTUAL cup of coffee, a donut, and a LIVE WEBINAR as Sabrina explores how pilots can communicate more effectively with ATC by gaining a better understanding of the roles of TRACON and ARTCC facilities, common pilot requests, and the flow of information between pilots and controllers.

Topics include how and when aircraft are handed off, how flight plans are processed, tips for requesting weather deviation and route amendments, how to establish contact with unresponsive aircraft, providing PIREPS for weather and abnormal situations, and how to communicate with TRACON/ARTCC at nontowered airports.

Aviation safety will be discussed, and is central to the content of this presentation.
