Speaker(s):
David Klein DPE, Chris Greene DPE
Brief Description:

This seminar provides flight students with a unique opportunity to gain direct insights from Designated Pilot Examiners (DPEs). Hosted by FAA DPE Chris Greene, with special guest speaker FAA DPE David Klein, this intensive session is designed to clarify the practical exam process. It begins with the essential first steps of properly qualifying both the applicant and the aircraft, ensuring a smooth start to checkride day.

During the seminar, the DPEs will offer a comprehensive review of the Airman Certification Standards (ACS) format. They will explain how DPEs construct their questions and assess an applicant's decision-making skills. By revealing the examiner’s perspective, attendees will learn how to avoid common pitfalls and transform their preparation into a polished, checkride-ready performance.

Overall, the seminar promotes safety by equipping pilots with the knowledge, skills, and mindset necessary to meet high standards in both testing and everyday flying.
