This seminar reviews the essential steps for effective pre-flight preparation.

  • Maintenance Focus: Provides specific guidance on conducting thorough pre-flight inspections, particularly after an aircraft has undergone maintenance.
  • Instrument Inspections: Covers detailed checks of critical cockpit equipment, such as turn coordinators, heading indicators, and magnetic compasses.
  • Operational Readiness: How to verify fluid pressures and ensure that all required aircraft placards and markings are accurate and present.
  • FAA Alignment: Aligned with FAA standards for flight safety and operational excellence.

MIke Dewey is a local pilot who has flown for 15 years. He has a private and commercial certificate and an instrument rating.

Randy Williams is a CFI/CFII and is a Designated PIlot Examiner. He has over 3000 hours and over 1400 hours right seat time as an instructor.

Both serve on the FAA Safety Team.
