Brief Description:

Safety and educational scenarios presented and discussed in a forum setting for VFR and IFR pilots.

Current topics and scenarios related to safety of flights in VMC and IMC conditions are presented each month.  "What would you do, and why" discussions provide insights and knowledge through active audience participation.  The forum is led by experienced CFI's.

This month there will be two scenarios to discuss:

For the VFR scenario: Departing VFR from Grand Rapids, MI with a little fluffy snow on the wings.

For the IFR scenario: Approaching an airport in a busy airspace with an instrument approach, good VFR, but hard to identify with blinding sun.

Current Topics related to safety of flight in VMC and IMC conditions are presented for discussion and education in a forum setting by experienced CFI's and pilots.  Active audience participation is encouraged.
