Join us for A VIRTUAL cup of coffee, a donut, and a LIVE WEBINAR as Jenny and Margit talk with us about runway safety operations in Class B, C, and D airspace. In FY 2024 nationally we had 1757 operational issues of which 62% were caused by pilots. See link below for handout with runway safety links for you to peruse.
We will discuss:
- Preflight action including reviewing hot spots, terminal procedures publication (TPP), and chart supplements
- Taxi use of the airport diagram, movement vs non-movement areas, and ATC clearances
- Destination Arrival Alert Notices (AAN)
Aviation safety will be discussed, and is central to the content of this presentation.
