Rising Terrain at Night With Low Ceilings & Runway Incursions
Brief Description:
Following our regular EAA chapter meeting, we will host a safety seminar eligible for credit in the FAA WINGS Pilot Proficiency Program (starting at 11am). The seminar will examine two scenarios: a VMC night departure involving rising terrain and an instrument failure, and an IMC late-night departure from an uncontrolled airport complicated by a vehicle on the runway.
