Brief Description:

While technological advances in situational awareness have reduced the risk of controlled flight into terrain, CFIT accidents continue to occur and at least half of them are fatal.

Pilots of all experience levels are prone to CFIT accidents.

The program will discuss the precursors leading to CFIT accidents, and offer tips and safety risk management solutions to CFIT challenges.
