Our hosts are Tailwheel Experts and Authors of countless articles for EAA and beyond. In this 4 hour workshop Steve Krog, Bob Lussow, along with Aircraft Mechanics; John Hofmann and Jim Lockbaum will talk about the ins and outs of tailwheel aircraft. We will hold a 2 hour seminar and while the flight instructor are speaking we will have the mechanics with your permission check your aircraft's tailwheel to see if it is properly rigged and in good working order. During last years workshop we found issues in over 60% of the airplanes.
After a free lunch the expert mechanics will go over the issues we also spend time walking the grass runway to show you what you should be looking for so that you stay safe during the takeoff and landing portion of your flight.
