Electrical Failure, WINGS Program Review, & VFR Charting Issues
Brief Description:
Please join us Tuesday evening, March 3rd at 6:30pm for EAA Chapter 770's VMC club meeting. After revealing the answer to the Question of the Month (QoM), we will watch a short scenario video and then have a review of the WINGS program.. This month, the QoM is still to be announced. The scenario involves an aircraft experiencing total electrical failure shortly after takeoff. For additional topics, we will discuss using the WINGS program for a flight review equivalent and navigating the Flight Tasks (by request from the group). We will also explore the differences in information presented by several sources of airport information, and how to use this data to avoid unwelcome surprises.

The purpose of EAA Visual Meteorological Conditions (VMC) Clubs is to promote recreational flying, proficiency, and safety. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency in VFR day and nighttime operations. EAA VMC Clubs are extensions to local EAA chapters and offer monthly VMC program meetings where pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences. Since 2017, pilots have improved their proficiency through the EAA VMC club programs and they love it.
If you are not a member of the EAA and/or Chapter 770, a complimentary 6-month, full-benefit membership will be available. VMC Club attendance qualifies for FAA WINGS credit!
