Brief Description:

Current topics and scenarios related to safety of flights in VMC and IMC conditions are presented each month.  "What would you do, and why" discussions provide insights and knowledge through active audience participation.  The forum is led by experienced CFI's.

This month there will be two scenarios to discuss:

For the VFR scenario: Departing VFR in the dark just as the tower opens and discover another plane is preparing to land creates an challenging situation.

For the IFR scenario: Departing IFR into low IMC results in confusion when flying a localizer back course in mountainous terrain.
