Saturday, March 21, 2026, starting at 09:00 Central Daylight Time (07:00 PDT; 08:00 MDT; 10:00 EDT; 04:00 HST; 06:00 AKDT; 07:00 Arizona; 14:00 GMT)
Speaker(s):
Chris Baur, ATP, CFI-I, Flight Engineer, Dispatcher
Brief Description:
Join us for A VIRTUAL cup of coffee, a donut, and a LIVE WEBINAR as Chris talks with us about ASIAS! General aviation pilots generate significant operational data every day, yet many are unaware of how this information contributes to improving aviation safety.
This session will explain how the Federal Aviation Administration and industry partners use de-identified flight data to identify risk trends, detect emerging hazards, and develop data-driven safety improvements. Participants will gain a better understanding of how voluntary data sharing supports proactive risk mitigation and helps prevent accidents before they occur.
This session is for all GA pilots, instructors, students and operators.
Aviation safety will be discussed, and is central to the content of this presentation.
Many of our sessions are recorded and can be viewed on our YouTube channel, Saturday Morning Coffee and WINGS. Credit is not available if viewing the recording. Here is a link:
