Title:
NTSB and Operators-Partners in Safety Partners in Response
Topic:
How to Engage and Support Families During a Crisis
Date and Time:
Monday, March 9, 2026, starting at 10:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Michael Graham, Brett Reeder, Chris Hill, Ian Matthews
Brief Description:

This must-attend session is essential for operators who want to be fully prepared for the unthinkable. Moderated by US National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Member Michael Graham, the symposium will present a behind-the-scenes look at how the NTSB works with aviation operators during accident investigations, including what to expect, how to engage effectively, and how collaboration strengthens safety outcomes. The presentation will also focus on family-assistance response efforts. Operators will learn what family assistance is and is not, how the process works, and how organizations involved with the investigation can coordinate compassionately and professionally when it matters most. Attendees will leave with actionable insights and a clearer understanding of their role in fostering transparent investigations and supporting those most affected by them.
