This session helps operators, maintenance techs, and suppliers of vertical aviation products and services establish a framework for managing operational safety risk. Such a framework results in a standardized approach that addresses risks across operations while documenting the risk controls that keep risk levels at an acceptable level for operational resiliency and regulatory compliance. Key features of the framework include adopting standardized terminology and procedures, creating safety risk profiles, organizing active risk registers, and performing bowtie analyses.
