Brief Description:

Come spend time with several of our local DPE's and find out their perspective on what makes a checkride good, bad, or ugly. Find out what to expect on checkride day, the dos and don'ts of the ground and flight portions of the test, and commonly failed tasks. We will also discuss training weaknesses and local safety trends.

There will be opportunities for open discussion with the Designated Pilot Examiners to learn about the checkride environment and the difference between a marginal pilot and a great pilot?

Following the presentation there will be an informal panel discussion with audience questions guiding the panelist's responses.

Pizza and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Expect the event to last 60-90 minutes.

Directions to Venue:

To access the hangar where the event will be held, park in the Signature parking lot at KFDK if traveling by car or in the transient airplane parking spaces on Signature's ramp if traveling by airplane. Enter the Signature lobby via the main doors, and go past the desk down the hall to the Bravo Flight Training office. You will enter the hangar through the Bravo Flight Training office.
