Brief Description:

Join us for an enlightening FAASTeam presentation that delves into "Visual Collision Avoidance". This session will provide invaluable insights into how different factors can impact Visual Collision Avoidance, and determine ways of eliminating or mitigating those factors that negatively impact Visual Collision avoidance.

IFR Quiz: Test your knowledge with our interactive IFR Quiz

IFR Enroute Planning: During the enroute phase, terrain/obstacle risk management is fundamentally an altitude management and situational-awareness problem. This presentation will take you through IFR enroute flight planning:

(1) Altitude and route structure strategy, and (2) Enroute validation of your current IFR clearance, navigation, and autopilot modes to assure that  the flight remains within the strategy.

During the presentation we will also discuss establishing decision triggers, during preflight, for situations that might occur during the flight.
