Brief Description:
Powered Paragliders (PPG) are dreams come true for many, as you literally run into the air when taking off. Join PPG instructor Jon Eisele and learn about equipment, the basics of flying, maintaining and training in a paramotor. Jon is a powered paramotor instructor and also an FAA CFI for airplanes who lives in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The equipment used for powered paramotors includes a canopy, engine, cage and harness. Jon will explain how each of these work and how to select proper equipment to fit you and create a safe equipment package. A paramotor also know as a powered paraglider is flown under the rules of Federal Aviation Regulation Part 103 Ultralight Vehicles. The paramotor flies typically at 20-30 mph and is inherently stable due to the pendulum stability of the canopy attachment to the harness and the pilot.
