Title:
Airspace Refresher
Topic:
Situational Awareness Where are We
Speaker(s):
Kathy Ihde FAAST Representative
Brief Description:
Airspace and the requirements are often a confusing topic for ALL pilots. Student Pilots have fewer problems with airspace violations then our tenured pilots, why is that? Answer is disuse and not staying informed by the pilot.
During this seminar we will cover:
1. Airspace
2. What you can and can't do
3. Pre-flight action
4. In-flight situational awareness
Come for a refresher on the ins and outs of airspace and weather. We will delve into deviations and airport ops while using Scenario Based Training to evaluate what went wrong, or right? This is a 1.5 hour presentation led by Kathty Ihde, CFI and FAA Safety Representative
