What is the EAA/IMC Club?

EAA provides monthly program resources in the form of actual IMC (Instrument Meteorological Conditions) and VMC (Visual Meteorological Conditions) related scenarios designed to encourage open discussion, and for all participants to answer the question “What would you do if this happened to you?”

What is the purpose of EAA/IMC Club?

The purpose of the EAA IMC/VMC Club is to promote instrument and visual flying, proficiency, and safety. The intent is to create a community of pilots willing to share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency in both instrument and visual flying.

EAA IMC/VMC  Clubs are extensions to local EAA chapters and offer monthly program meetings where pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences. .

Do you need to bring anything?

First, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share them with the group.  This meeting is very interactive.  Participation by the group is a fundamental element of the meeting.

Others have found it helpful to bring along a copy of their electronic flight book (EFB).

Who can attend?

You don't need an instrument rating to attend.  This meeting is open to all current, and non-current pilots, and student pilots.
