Title:
BFC Instrument Seminar
Topic:
Understanding Your Systems
Speaker(s):
Adam Kellum, Brendan Conner
Brief Description:
Flying IFR means trusting systems you cannot see and often do not fully understand. This seminar strips away the mystery behind the electrical, vacuum, pitot static, and autopilot systems that keep an IFR flight legal and safe. We will focus on how these systems actually work, what normal looks like, how failures develop, and what cues pilots miss until it is too late. The goal is simple. Better system knowledge leads to better decisions when the weather and workload stack up.
1800 to 2000 with brief intermission.
