Brief Description:

We will discuss the planning, pre-flight operations, and survival equipment considerations for general aviation operations in winter.  We will emphasize winter-specific details of pre-flight inspections and aircraft preparation when cold-soaked or covered in snow or frost.

We will discuss loss of control accidents during the approach phase of flight.  We will review how to teach and practice approaches and go-arounds to maintain skills & enhance safety.

Pizza will be available after 6PM for those attendees who arrive early.
