Kurt Kleiner earned his pilot certificate in 1988 with a significant prior background in technical rock climbing, skydiving, and paragliding.  He holds Commercial certificates in ASEL, ASES, AMEL, and Gliders.  The majority of his 4,800 total hours have been logged while giving dual instruction as an active CFI.
