Topic:
VMC Scenario for Collision Course and IMC Scenario for Illusions and Unstable RPM
Date and Time:
Saturday, September 6, 2025, starting at 09:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Timothy Meyer, Howard Kaney
Brief Description:

VMC Question of the Month:  Is it illegal to make a midfield crosswind pattern entry at an uncontrolled airport? We view and discuss short videos presenting flight scenarios that any VFR pilot can learn from others. Members discuss short videos and how they would respond to the given scenario. This is an open Forum for free ideas and we all learn from Shared Experience! All are welcome to join in the discussion.

IMC Question of the month:  What causes the somatogravic illusion, and under what conditions is it more likely to occur?

We will discuss the answers to the two questions of the month as well as the VMC and IMC Video Scenario and discuss what we would do if we found ourselves in the same situations more importantly, how to prevent ourselves from getting into these situations in the first place.
