Title:
Aircraft Preflight Tips and Techniques
Topic:
Tips and Techniques for a Successful Pre-flight of Your Typical Single Engine Flight School Aircraft.
Date and Time:
Tuesday, July 8, 2025, starting at 17:30 Arizona Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Jakob Kehr
Brief Description:

Have you ever not known the ins and outs of your aircraft or what the purpose of each item on a checklist is? Our event can solve that. It will be a two part meeting where we will discuss the importance of a pre-flight walk-around/checklist, and before takeoff checklist, and also have a group activity/competition with identifying parts of an aircraft and their function. This will help promote a safe aviation environment by providing participants the knowledge on why the checks we do are important, what things are good to look for, and become more familiar with aircraft components.
