Brief Description:

This event is being held to create a dialogue between Waterloo Regional Airport Controllers and area Pilots, who routinely utilize the Waterloo Regional Airport for Training, Business, or Pleasure flying and interact with the local air traffic controllers.

The primary focus of this meeting will be to discuss changes associated with the relocation of the Radar Approach/Departure for Waterloo (KALO) from the Waterloo ATC facility to Des Moines, effective 14 September 2025.

In addition, during the last portion of the meeting, we will discuss the upcoming EAA Young Eagles, being hosted by EAA Chapter 227, 23 & 24 Aug (Saturday & Sunday), 7:30 am - 1 pm.

Aerospace Education Room  (Located in the Main Terminal Building of Waterloo Airport.

If flying in, you can park at Livingston Aviation, and it is a short walk from Livingston to the Main Terminal.  If you are driving in, you may park in the main parking lot for the Terminal (Note: The first three hours of parking are free).
