The information to obtaining informative and useful ways to identify, understand, and manage the risks associated with the landing phase of flight. Your responsibilities with pre-flight planning and landing distance assessment, and flying stabilized approaches. Learn how wind, pilot error, and runway condition can effect landing distances.

The information to obtaining informative and useful ways to identify, understand, and manage the risks associated with the landing phase of flight. Discuss the hazards of runway excursions, the requirements for pre-flight planning, landing distance assessment, and stabilized approaches.

Some older aircraft suffer from limited available information and AC 91-79B provides specific guidance  on how wind, pilot error, and runway condition, affect landing distances.
