Brief Description:

Could Spring be in the air? Please come to the MARCH, 2025 meeting of the IMC Club. An affiliate of the EAA. At this meeting we will discuss a real life event involving a corporate flight into Teterboro airport on the RNAV 24 approach. We will examine the relatively new approach itself as well as the communications between the pilots and ATC and what went wrong along the way. This could happen to anyone.
This scenario allows the attendees to share and build on their own experiences.You do not have to be instrument rated to attend!  We begin our meeting with the Question of the Month. Following the presentation, we will conclude with the question, "What would you do?".  Refreshments will be served.  Click the link below and register today!

What is the IMC Club?
The IMC Club is the brain child of Radek Wyrzykowski; a Master Certified Flight Instructor Instrument and Multi-Engine Instructor. As a flight instructor in Norwood, Ma., Radek developed a volunteer mentor program to help instrument pilots improve their proficiency, and they loved it.

What is the purpose of the IMC club?
Our purpose is to promote instrument flying, proficiency and safety. Along with IFR flying and monthly local chapter meetings, we offer a resource rich website, which provides an electronic experience base.

Our intent is to create a community of pilots that share information, provide recognition, foster communications, promote safety, and build proficiency in instrument flying. IMC Club Chapters offer monthly meetings in which pilots can network and share knowledge and experiences.

Do you need to bring anything?
First, bring your thoughts or story and be willing to share them with the group. This meeting is very interactive. Participation by the group is a key element to the IMC Club meeting.

Others have found it helpful to bring along a copy of their flight manual, GPS manual and charts. If you navigate with an iPad, bring it along.

Who can attend?
You don’t need an instrument rating to attend. This meeting is open to all current, non-current, and future instrument pilots.
