Brief Description:
Acosta Tech's Drone Safety Awareness Day Event will include numerous educational briefings, practical workshops, aircraft displays, and live demonstrations. The day's activities are designed to bring together veteran drone pilots, model aircraft hobbyists, recreational fliers and their families and friends. This event will provide members of the drone community an opportunity to interact with peers and mentors while offering an environment that aims at enhancing their overall knowledge and skills. The main goal is for participants to acquire valuable information that will translate into safe and responsible drone operations in the National Airspace System (NAS).

This event is sponsored by the municipality of Barceloneta. It is organized by Acosta Tech. Volunteers from the San Juan FAASTeam will be supporting the many safety briefings provided throughout the day.
Event hours: 09:00 AM through 06:00 PM.
Exhibitions will include: model aircraft, hang gliders, ultralights, UASs, FPVs and rotorcraft.
This is a free of cost event.
