Speakers bios include:
David St. George: is a 13X Master CFI (airplanes/multi/gliders) and a DPE for over 25 years. He has >16K dual given (running a 141 school for 25 years) and now flies jet charter. He has a master's degree from Penn in Psychology and still flies a 7AC Champ for fun. He also wrote and maintains the SAFE Toolkit App.
Veronica Cote: is a tenured associate professor of over 25 years in the Aviation Science Department at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts. She holds a Master of Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, an ATP certificate, Ground Instructor certificate, a Gold Seal CFII, over 1000 hours of flight instruction, and over 4000 total hours in single, multi-engine and turbine aircraft. She is delighted to share her love of the sky by teaching. Her areas of specialty are ground school courses, CFI instruction, aviation weather, human factors, and the early space program.
Gene Benson: has had a lifetime of aviation experience. He has lived and breathed aviation from his first official flying lesson at the age of 14, to his first solo on his sixteenth birthday, to his 8,000 hours of flight instruction given. He has accumulated more than 15,000 accident/incident free flight hours. He has served as the Dean of Aeronautics for an aviation college, as an instructor for a major domestic airline, consultant to several foreign and domestic airlines, and to business aviation. His academic background includes degrees in psychology, education, and business. His specialty now is the application of human factors to error reduction and safety in aviation and other industries. He is presently a FAASTeam Lead Representative, FAA Accredited Training Provider, and has recently served as a member of the NBAA Safety Committee.
