Title:
Monthly Safety Meeting
Topic:
From Having It All to Zero Options In One Hour
Speaker(s):
HP Schuele (German AF fighter pilot (ret), FAASTeam Rep of the Year, & currently ATP, CFII, USAF Flight Simulator Branch Chief)
Brief Description:
A pilot has all the information needed for a successful flight. Then, as is often the case, critical information about the destination airport and developing weather is received but not processed properly. Ultimately the pilot is left with two options -- neither desirable. For our entertainment/edification, H.-P. Schuele has developed a Case Study in recognizing opportunities and the importance of planning, observing, and acting upon internal/external circumstances. H.-P. is a retired German Air Force fighter pilot, an FAA Safety Team Representative of the Year, and currently an ATP, CFII, and USAF Flight Simulator Instructor/Branch Chief. Wings credit will be awarded to attendees.
