Brief Description:
It’s that time again to dive into check ride issues common to Private, Instrument and Commercial applicants. From start-up to climb-out, we’ve seen ATC miscommunication and misinterpretation of instructions, not knowing how to get to the runway, what taxiway and runway markings mean, how to hold your controls when taxiing and during the take-off roll, what true airspeed is and how it impacts control on the ground, aerodynamics in the air, ground speed, fuel burn, and filing flight plans. The ACS enumerates know-consider-do requirements for each of these tasks and we’ll explore how to effectively teach the related concepts to help ensure your student’s success. You are not going to want to miss this discussion!
This is a master level webinar for certified flight instructors and commercial pilots working towards their flight instructor certificates.
Of course, all pilots at all skill levels are welcome to join us!
