Brief Description:
Why are runway excursions a significant element in aircraft accidents for all types of airplanes?
In this seminar, we will examine realistic stable approach concepts and how to make go-arounds a normal part of flying. Included is a discussion on helpful criteria (decision points or gates) for deciding when to do a go-around as well as a review of safe go-around procedures for various aircraft types.
There will be a Washington Pilots Assoc. meeting & snack lunch later and everyone is welcome.
