The airspace in the Salt Lake area is busier than ever - especially in and around our uncontrolled airfields. This seminar will take a deep dive into best practices to keep you safe in the traffic patterns at U42, TVY and BTF. Topics to be covered will include: 

  • Traffic pattern entries,
  • Flying a courteous pattern, 
  • Identifying "local knowledge checkpoints" (white water towers, brickyard, etc.),
  • Dealing with IFR practice approach traffic,
  • How parachute jumping operations effect the TVY traffic pattern,
  • And many more
