Title:
Eat a Hamburger with your Crosswind Landing Seminar
Topic:
Hamburger Social and Crosswind Landings
Date and Time:
Wednesday, August 2, 2023, starting at 18:00 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
John Chmiel
Brief Description:

If you fly airplanes then this seminar is a must! Takeoff and landing accidents account for 45% of all GA Accidents and Wisconsin had 18 landing accidents in 2022 alone, why is that? Is it that pilots aren't proficient? Is it that pilots forgot the basics and forgot their crosswind landing techniques?

During this short 30 minute seminar John Chmiel, will talk about Crosswind Landings and why so many pilots struggle with them. John is a veteran Flight Instructor that will answer many of your questions.

•Why are we talking about  Crosswind landings

•Unstabilized Approaches

•How do we stay safe

To top it off, you will be able to enjoy a hamburger served by the Stevens Point Professional Pilots Group.
