Agenda:

The event starts at 1200, when the AOPA Flying Clubs Team will present Maximum Fun, Minimum Cost: The Wonderful World of Flying Clubs!  You’ve earnt your pilot’s license—now what? Join us to learn about how flying clubs help you get the most out of your pilot’s license, share the cost of ownership & operations, stay proficient and safe, and take control of your aviation journey alongside like-minded aviators.  Sign-up for FAASTeam WINGS credit at the seminar.

For our non-pilot attendees at 1200, join the Ninety Nines for a Flying Companion Seminar. All are welcome to learn some aviation basics and ask questions in a judgement-free environment. Learn how to be an active participant during flights for maximum enjoyment.

We’ll break for lunch at 1245 for tacos!

At 1345, we’ll wrap up the day with Why Good Pilots Make Bad Decisions. FAASTeam Lead Rep Steve Bateman will discuss why otherwise good pilots make bad decisions.  Steve will present research from several books which dissect the way the brain makes decisions and will suggest some ways we can be safer pilots by training smarter.  Sign-up for FAASTeam WINGS credit at the seminar.
