Title:
Flying In Controlled Airspace
Topic:
Understanding the Roll of ATC in Controlled Airspace
Brief Description:
- Pilot certified Air Traffic Controllers will be presenting best practices in controlled airspace in Colorado, the front range airports, with specific information from active controllers at Centennial airport. The KAPA controllers are also active pilots, having experience and expertise on both sides of the radios. The presentation will help participants understand the role of ATC in keeping pilots safe, and being able to operate the NAS as efficiently and expediently as possible. This will be an interactive presentation that will be “information rich” and help the aviation community build a stronger bridge between ATC and the people they talk to every day, within the system.
