Planning Ahead For a Low Altitude Engine Failure
Date and Time:
Wednesday, April 26, 2023, starting at 18:00 Eastern Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):

Brief Description:

Single-engine pilots... We have all heard about, studied, and practiced what's referred to as the "Impossible Turn." Do we land straight ahead... Are we able execute a 180° turn and land successfully on the runway surface of the airport from which we departed? What happens when we are 500' AGL... 300' AGL...  Or... 75' AGL?

Join us for a lively conversation on the not so uncommon but always unexpected "Engine Failure After Takeoff" to learn some tips, tricks, and techniques which are certain to help improve the outcome!
