Brief Description:

It can be intimidating talking to ATC. This seminar will explain how ATC works and provide real examples of how to talk to ATC. We will discuss flight following, getting and cancelling an IFR clearance, pop up IFR, PIREPs, how to make requests, and more. We will discuss how to add layers of safety to all the flying you do.

The FAA Safety Center is centrally located on the EAA AirVenture grounds on the South side of the control tower. We are the large tan building with the rooftop deck facing the runway. Forums entrance is on the west side of the building.
