Title:
AirVenture 2023 Forum - Aviation Safety A Life Lesson
Topic:
Aviation Safety A Life Lesson
Date and Time:
Thursday, July 27, 2023, starting at 10:15 Central Daylight Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Greg Feith
Brief Description:

Aviation safety must be a core value so that it does not require the learner to “work” at being safe, rather the learner is empowered to incorporate safe habits in both their flying and personal lives! You should have learned that one missed item on checklist due to distraction can have disastrous results. Also, professionalism isn’t just for the professionals but rather performing the acts of a pilot, flight instructor or maintenance technician requires a professional-attitude to ensure that each required task, decision-making and outcomes are accomplished successfully and safely. Finally, the presentation demonstrates that each pilot, flight instructor and maintenance technician must be empowered with a positive attitude, self-discipline, and self-motivation to conduct any aviation activity at the highest levels of aviation safety especially when no one is watching.
