Speaker(s):

Brief Description:

DRS is a comprehensive knowledge center combining regulatory and guidance material from across all Aviation Safety (AVS). For now, the DRS is focused primarily on Aircraft Certification (AIR) and Flight Standards (FS), but eventually it will expand to include other organizations. DRS includes over 2 million documents, from more than 65 document types, consolidated from more than a dozen information repositories. Audience is both the public and internal FAA users – some doc types are marked as internal only and can be accessed only by authenticated users. The system includes all information found in Flight Standards Information Management System (FSIMS) and Regulatory Guidance Library (RGL) system.

The SDRS automation is available to the GA community. Participation from the GA owners, operators, and maintainers adds value and improves the overall safety of the entire aviation community. The GA community is encouraged to participate in this reporting process. Submitters may remain anonymous.
