Title:
Single Pilot Standard Operating Procedures
Topic:
Single Pilot Standard Operating Procedures for the GA Pilot
Date and Time:
Saturday, January 28, 2023, starting at 08:45 Pacific Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
Matt Thurber ATP, CFII, Type Rated & A&P
Brief Description:

The adoption of SOPs has led to significant improvements in safety for airlines and professionally flown aircraft. Unfortunately, this concept isn’t normally discussed in the initial flight training environment, and new pilots usually aren’t exposed to SOPs until they start flying professionally. SOPs should be taught from the beginning, and this session will explore how all pilots can adopt SOPs suited to their operation, including a framework to build their own SOPs, and a discussion of FAA Advisory Circular 120-71B.

NOTE: Before attending any seminar, please review and abide by current CDC, State, and Local health guidelines.
