Title:
Stall/Spin Awareness Training for Future CFIs
Topic:
Stall/Spin Awareness for Pilots and future Certified Flight Instructors
Date and Time:
Saturday, December 3, 2022, starting at 09:00 Central Standard Time Download Calendar File
Speaker(s):
John P. Chmiel
Brief Description:

Aspiring CFI this seminar is for YOU!

This course is for all pilots but will be most helpful to pilots in pursuit of their spin endorsement for CFI in the future. Topics will debunk common misconceptions in the industry regarding stalls and spins. The course will suggest vocabulary that may be helpful to instructors to explain the topic to pilot learners and give them a better understanding of how we can bring this topic from the classroom and onto the flight deck. This is NOT "a how to spin" course. This is a course designed to prevent spins through recognition of pro-spin elements that can be induced by students during flight training. The objective of this course is to give pilots, and especially flight instructors more confidence when teaching stalls and spins and give them the knowledge and experience to teach safely, but also have the confidence to recover from an accidental spin entry. Optional flight lessons at additional cost will be offered on later dates.

Prior to attending a safety seminar please review and abide by current CDC, State and Local health guidelines.
