Title:
Simple Changes For Safer Flying!
Topic:
Safety Requires a Mindset of Vigilance.
Speaker(s):
David St. George
Brief Description:
Simple changes to your ordinary procedures can yield immediate safety improvement.
FAA Safety Seminar, a great breakfast, and aviation fun for the whole family.
A disproportionate number of fatal accidents take place during take-off and landing. Only 6% of piloting time represents 71% of all fatal accidents! Simple changes in preparation and procedures can significantly reduce your chance of an accident in these areas. A pilot should tune up their vigilance when in this phase of flight and always leave a performance margin and an escape route to assure safety.
David St. George is a 13X Master Flight Instructor and has been an FAA DPE for over 25 years.
